Crazy House

My roommates are the best. Anike and I are very good at entertaining ourselves. We spend our time jamming on the guitar, singing songs and dancing like fools. It's sad to think that this might be our last year living together. So we plan on taking full advantage of this year and saying YES! YES to new adventures. YES to new friends. YES to life. To demonstrate how much fun we have.. here is a our newest song we wrote. Just so you know.. this is all improv BTW...

Spring Semester.

This semester was horrible. Actually, I take that back. It was only horrible school-wise. Everything unrelated to school work was so great. The top two things that happened was...

1. Tijuana, Mexico for Spring Break.

El ninos y yo

I have never fallen in love with a place and with people more in my whole life. I went to Mexico with Charity Anywhere to build houses for the people of Tijuana! I spent the week at an orphanage remolding the one room school house. About 22 people came from USU and every single person that went was amazing. We worked every day from 8- 6 and then spent the rest of our time seeing Tijuana sleeping on the roof, walking on the beach, shopping, and eating millions of tacos. No taco will ever taste as good as the ones I ate that week. 

I can't wait for next spring break. 

2. IAN CAME HOME!! After over 2 years I was finally reunited with my bestest friend!!!!!! I was unable to be home when he got home, but I surprised him the next weekend! I got to spend 4 whole days at home and loved every single second.

I understand this blog post is very short for a whole semesters worth, but it really was full of studying, homework and stress. I can honestly say that I have never been more excited for a semester to end. Only 2 exams to go and I'm as free as a bird.. well ALMOST.. this girl is taking the MCAT in June. Having no class is good enough for me.

If only life had a pause button...

Break has come and gone. I was having too much fun to stop and blog. Why is it that something you are counting down to and waiting for FOREVER comes and goes like a blink of an eye. Sign. If only life had a pause button... or maybe a slow-mo button. Some things I did over break...
-A Soup and I spent many days taking pictures.
-Played and beat Linds in Sequence probably a million times
-Snowboarding on Christmas with the fam!
-Did the annual Christmas Caroling with the fam
-Found my newest hobby-- Snowshoeing!
-Caught up with old friends
-DID NOTHING! it was awesome.

Christmas of 2010 was a good one. Full of love and happiness. So many things to be grateful for. I'm always sad to see the Holiday Season to leave because it always so wonderful. But there is always next year. And each year just gets better and better..

Speaking of new years.. HAPPY 2011!
